Otra linda ciudad balcánica con aire musulmán ...

Los días lluviosos se sucedían unos tras otros, no obstante salía a caminar y disfrutaba mucho igualmente ...

MOSTAR

I left very early in the morning to Mostar. My idea was to do a day trip, back to Sarajevo in the early evening and then take the train to Zagreb.
I traveled with a guy from Netherlands, who i would meet again in Belgrade. We had an interesting talk along the trip and that made the time pass quickly !
Once in Mostar i started to walk heading the old town. I got a "bit" lost as i like to do, for later finding the right way. Along the way i stopped in an small local bar to have a nice espresso, which gave me enough energy to keep on walking ...

Got into a local neightbourgh and found this ... bullet signs on walls, marks from war still there, as a reminder of war ...

But the beauty of the place makes everyone forget about it and just simply admire the scenery ... awesome !!!

Another great place in Balcans, another beautiful city in eastern Europe !!!

While i was taking photos i met two muslim guys. I asked them to take me a picture and they did it pleasantly. We started talking and a bit later started to rain heavily, so we decided to move somewhere else. On the way we found a nice bar and we stayed there.
We three had a very interesting conversation about life, but basicly about religion. They taught me about Islam, we talked about the Bible, Jesus, Mohamed and after that we three went to a mosque where one of them (can not remember their names, but remember with surprise they were dutch) show me how muslims wash themselves before praying.
It was a great day for me, not just because the talking and the beauty of the place, i remember it as a clear mind day ...
